Tara Rouse
Forensic Psychologist & Company Director

Tara is a registered psychologist with over 15 years’ experience. She is experienced in working with adults and children with a range of complex presentations and with multiple diagnoses. Her work is strengths based and focused on resilience, coping and emotion regulation. Tara is known for her empathetic and supportive approach and holds an ability to quickly connect with clients. She is skilled at presenting psychological interventions to clients in a practical and relevant way.
In therapy you will see Tara draw on a range of therapeutic strategies including Dialectical Behaviour therapy, Schema Therapy, ACT, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. She is an AHPRA approved supervisor for those seeking general registration as well as forensic endorsement.
Tara holds a Masters in Forensic Psychology and specializes in both therapeutic group work and individual counselling. She has a special interest in working with adults, teens and children with neurodiverse presentations. She enjoys facilitating workshops on wellbeing and resilience and has an interest in working with organizations to enhance neurodiversity affirming approaches. She conducts diagnostic Autism and ADHD assessments as well as assisting families post ADHD and ASD diagnoses using a neuro-diverse affirming approach.
